Typography and layout blocks in Vero2

Vero2 adds mobile typography settings and additional layout blocks. Use the controls to adapt an existing design to smaller screens and build new content compositions in the theme editor.

Mobile typography

Open Theme settings → Typography and enable Customize mobile typography when you need separate paragraph and H1–H6 sizes. The starting mobile values are 16px for paragraphs and 40, 32, 28, 24, 18, and 16px for H1 through H6. Leave the option off to retain the normal typography behavior.

Check heading wrapping with your actual copy. Block-specific typography can override global defaults, so review a block's settings when a heading does not follow the size you expect.

Eyebrow text

The Typography settings include global eyebrow font family, size, letter spacing, and text case. The defaults use the subheading font, 11px, 0.22em spacing, and uppercase text. Eyebrow blocks can also expose line and local appearance controls.

Use a short eyebrow label and a clear heading. Check alignment and line treatments on both desktop and mobile.

Additional layout blocks

Use Add block in a compatible section. Available choices depend on the section and its allowed child blocks.

BlockUse
ColumnsA composition of child columns with gap, background/media, border, and padding controls
StatisticsA group of statistic entries
Service cardA service-focused card composition
Overlay cardAn image/content treatment with overlaid content
Image collage editorialA main image with an accent image and separate desktop/mobile dimensions
Image collage stackA stacked image composition
Image collage tilesA tiled image composition

Add the block, choose its images/content/links, then adjust its spacing and surface controls. Private child blocks appear only inside their supported parent; a missing child in another section does not mean it should be added globally.

Preview the layout

Use real images and copy. Check narrow screens, long labels, image cropping, keyboard focus on links, and contrast over background media. Revisit minimum heights and padding when a composition leaves excess space. New block types do not automatically replace existing sections in imported templates.

The image gallery includes a Featured grid layout and heading controls. Use it when one design should stand out alongside smaller gallery items. Check image cropping, heading size, and the gallery’s product/design selection on mobile as well as desktop. Existing galleries keep their chosen layout until you change it.
