Drawers and navigation in Vero2

Vero2 updates the drawer infrastructure used by storefront components. Merchant setup still starts with navigation and the theme's cart and drawer settings.

Choose cart behavior

In Theme settings → Cart, choose the cart type. When using Drawer, review Auto open cart drawer. Add a product from its page and from any quick-add flow your store uses, then confirm the intended drawer behavior.

Under Theme settings → Drawers, set the background, text, and border colors. Review Popovers and modals separately for dialogs; those settings control a different surface.

Verify header navigation

Choose the menus and logos in the Header settings. Check desktop overflow menus, mobile navigation, transparent-header colors, localization controls, search, and account links. Multi-brand stores should repeat the checks with each active brand.

Use keyboard navigation to open and close drawers. Confirm focus enters the opened surface, Escape closes supported dialogs, and focus returns to the trigger. Check scrolling in short mobile viewports.

Confirm cart updates

Test changing quantities, switching variants, removing items, and using the browser Back button. Custom option fees can appear beneath their parent product; confirm that fees update and disappear with the correct parent item, especially when two lines use the same product with different choices.

Vero2 includes upstream work addressing stale cart contents after browser Back. Verify your actual cart workflow and app integrations before publishing; the presence of the fix in code does not establish compatibility with every app.
