Buttons and interaction effects in Vero2
Vero2 separates button movement from button color effects and adds optional interface feedback. Configure these after setting your normal button colors.
Global button effects
Open Theme settings → Buttons → Hover effects.
| Setting | Choices or range | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Default movement | None, Lift, Grow, Shrink, Tilt, Magnetic | Lift |
| Default color effect | Fade, directional fills, Expand from center | Fade |
| Effect duration | 120–400ms | 280ms |
| Magnetic travel | 2–16px | 8px |
Movement and color effects are independent. Supported button blocks provide Hover effects overrides. Use global default inherits the theme setting; None disables movement while retaining the selected color effect.
Regular buttons, product-list buttons, and contact-submit buttons also have separate desktop/mobile width controls and optional minimum heights, padding, radius, and border thickness. Fixed widths clamp to their container. Desktop sizing begins at 750px.
Header/localization actions, quick-add/quickview surfaces, link-style buttons, accelerated checkout, and specialized controls can retain their own treatments. Check each component rather than expecting every clickable element to move.
Hat Lab pagination
Hat Lab pagination inherits global movement and color effects. Enable Customize pagination buttons for separate desktop/mobile widths, minimum heights, padding, and border thickness. Radius follows the primary button unless Override global corner radius is enabled.
Modern surfaces
Product fields use their individual styling controls for spacing, borders, corner radius, and focus effects. There is no separate Modern card styling option on custom selects, multiselects, text fields, file uploads, accessory selectors, or selected-design displays.
The Design Gallery section has its own optional Modern card styling setting for gallery cards.
Interaction polish
Under Theme settings → Interaction polish, Selection and action feedback is enabled by default. Sliding tab/collection indicators, gentle section entrances, and illustrated empty states are off by default.
Supported button blocks also offer Show animated arrow, off by default. Reduced-motion preferences disable decorative motion. Section entrances are disabled in the theme editor, so test that option on a storefront preview.
File feedback saying a file is ready means it has been selected locally; it does not confirm an upload or completed order. Check the actual cart and submitted artwork during ordering tests.
