Setup notes and troubleshooting
Vero2 2.0.0 is publicly available and included with every Vero purchase, including existing customers. Test the features your store uses on an unpublished theme before switching your storefront.
Current boundaries
- Theme migration requires reviewing and rebuilding changed settings and layouts; it is not an automatic conversion of Vero's editor configuration.
- Preview rendering requires store activation and an available licensed renderer. An accessible product form does not prove the preview renderer is ready.
- Artwork cleanup changes the displayed preview. The original uploaded artwork remains the production file.
- Pricing estimates are informational. Shopify checkout determines the charged price, including app discounts and separate add-on lines.
- Brand-domain mapping requires alias domains and live DNS/SSL. It shares one store’s catalog and checkout; check Markets, customer-account links, and cart behavior across domains.
- Back-artwork previews require matching gallery images. Without one, customers can upload back artwork but cannot see it placed on a back-view photo.
- Existing Vero guides can contain color scheme instructions that do not apply to the Vero2 palette system.
Before publishing, test your own products, apps, artwork uploads, cart changes, languages, and checkout in the theme editor and storefront preview.
Preview does not load
Confirm license activation and renderer availability. Then check the product template, preview mode, gallery target, and artwork. Follow Guided Patch Builder setup for standalone products or the shared Patch Preview guide for the standard workflow.
A setting has no effect
Check whether the setting is global, section-specific, or block-specific. Review local overrides, preview the intended product/template, and confirm the feature is enabled. Section entrances deliberately do not run in the Theme Editor.
A fee or total is unexpected
Review the selected fee product/variant, its availability, the product quantity, and any discount rules. Confirm the cart contains the correct parent and fee lines. Test removal and quantity changes. If the builder reports an incomplete cart, inspect the cart before retrying to avoid duplicating a partially added configuration.
Report an issue
Contact 424 Solutions with the store and unpublished theme, affected URL/template, steps to reproduce, expected and actual behavior, browser/device, and screenshots or a short recording. Include the selected product/variant and app embeds relevant to the issue. Keep customer details and license secrets out of the report.
